How To Make Easy Espresso At Home

Home Espresso Machine BEST SELLERS

There aren’t many individuals who do not enjoy a nice shot of espresso. Some people enjoy espresso so much that they choose to drink it everyday. Unfortunately, some of the best espresso is sold at in popular coffee shops and can begin to really hurt your wallet if you’re not careful. The good news is that you can create your own gourmet espresso at home.

It is very important not to confuse espresso with coffee. Espresso is finely ground, but not so fine that it is powdery – but almost. In order to create the perfect espresso, you’ll need some fresh beans of your choice and a grinder. You’ll also need an espresso machine. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure that you have a high-quality espresso machine.

Unfortunately, these machines can be quite pricey, but are no doubt the best. Starbucks sells espresso machines on their website for as little as $399, and you can also find machines for much less than that (around $29) at places such as Wal-mart and Target. The less expensive machines aren’t the same as machines used in coffee shops or restaurants, and also aren’t as likely to produce the same quality. However, if you’re carefully to follow specific instruction on how to create the perfect espresso, you’ll end up with a satisfactory result that your taste buds will love.

The first step is to pour as much water as ounces of espresso you desire into your machine’s boiler chamber. Be sure that the cap is on securely as to avoid any accidents. If you want one shot of espresso, pour one ounce. For two shots, pour two ounces.

Next, place the amount of espresso coffee grounds into the filter cup. Close the lid and turn on the machine. One of the signature characteristics of espresso is the foam that forms on the top. Once the liquid begins to flow into your cup, you should notice the foam forming. As soon as the foam (also known as “crema”) begins to turn white, remove the container immediately.

Many people do not prefer to add anything to their espresso, but if you do, here are some ideas:

Vanilla syrup for vanilla lattes, hot chocolates, and caramel macchiatos

Whipped cream for topping off your espresso

Mocha powders for hot chocolate and cafe mochas

Caramel sauce for caramel macchiatos

Because the quality of the machine is such an important factor when it comes to creating the perfect shot of espresso, you may find that you must make several attempts before ending up with the result you want. It is highly recommended to purchase and grind your own beans. If you prefer not to do this, then you can always purchase individual packets of espresso that have already been pre-ground.

A popular recipe for espresso-lovers is cafe mocha. Here is how to make it:

1) Steam milk

2) Brew 2 ounces of espresso and pour into your cup

3) Pour approximately 3 teaspoons of mocha powder into your cup

4) Fill your cup 3/4 full of steam milk

5) Top off with whip cream

Who says you need to go down to Starbucks or some other coffee shop and drop $5 for a cup of Espresso. With a bit of practice, you can make your own, from home, you you may grow to like your taste even better.
